Can you imagine anything better than a Mimosa with your brunch….how about a Mimosa Flight? Yup, you read that right, a beautifully blended array of fruit juices and Prosecco with a dash of herbal simple syrup.You can find this flight of fortification at Foundry Kitchen & Bar in Port Perry, Ontario. I want to share a secret with you, brunch is my favourite meal to enjoy out but the hardest to find executed well. I am happy to report the food here is really good! Put it on your list if you like discovering great new restaurants that focus on fresh, local ingredients and inspired flavour combinations.

The brunch menu includes the classics like Eggs Benny and Bagel with Lox. As well as some unexpected twists, Banana Bread French Toast or the D.L.T ( Duck, Lettuce and Tomato sandwich on a pretzel bun. All of which we enjoyed thoroughly, sharing bites between us so as not to miss out on any tasty goodness.
Keep the Foundry at the top of your must try list and if you find yourself there on a Tuesday night, for the love of good food….. GET THE TACOS! Chances are at some point during your meal the chef will come out to chat and ask how you enjoyed your food. Chef Steven Lovisa is passionate about offering a memorable culinary experience so don’t be afraid to ask questions. I find it enhances my enjoyment of the meal when I know the level of care that went into crafting it.Tell him the Dip Diva sent you and then come back here and tell me what you had and how much you loved it!
