One of my favorite  culinary quotesPeople who love to eat are always the best people.” penned by Julia Child.

I would take it one step further “People who create recipes we savour and  food narratives we devour are culinary geniuses”. The Dip Diva . It is fitting that we celebrate these world class writers at the Taste Canada Gala Awards. I am honoured to be attending as a Blogger Ambassador to bring you the highlights, the who’s who and pic by pic coverage of the food! OR you could experience it all for yourself and join me by purchasing your ticket HERE.

Taste Canada Celebrates Culinary Writers

The Gala, hosted by Mary Ito, is a one of a kind gastronomic event with more than a dozen food stations led by Toronto’s most celebrated chefs. A dazzling red carpet to usher in some of Canada’s most celebrated writers and culinary personalities to rub shoulders with fans like us.

Check out the shortlist of Nominees , a couple of my personal favorites will be in attendance. Mairlyn Smith with her most recent cookbook Homegrown, celebrating the food we grow in Canada.  A little insider info for you- Mairlyn will be launching a new you tube cooking series called My Left Frying Pan, you can subscribe so you don’t mis an episode. Kristy Gardner is a BC gal who writes one of my favorite food blogs She Eats. Her blog is brilliant and may contain some “language” but honestly it just proves how passionate she is about food. She also shares some pretty fabulous cocktail recipes for those that like to imbibe.
